Crowders Mountain State Park
The breathtaking scenery and sheer vertical cliffs of Crowders Mountain combine to create a natural oasis for campers, naturalists, hikers, and rock climbers alike. The prominent peaks of Crowders Mountain, Little Mountain and Kings Pinnacle, cultivate plant life that resembles communities found in much higher elevations.
Raptors float majestically across the highest point in Gaston County where views stretch for more than 20 miles. The gently flowing landscape provides trickling streams, quiet woods, and rock outcroppings all surrounded by hiking trails.
